The BTSF Academy is a cloud-based Learning Management System (on an open-source Moodle-platform) that manages both the blended training offer (face-to-face and online courses) as well as the administration of future and former participants. It is a new product from the BTSF initiative which has been running since February 2018.
Our team analyzed the needs of the stakeholders and built the Academy for the “Better Training for Safer Food” Initiative.
Our task was to design, implement the IT architecture in the Microsoft Azure Cloud; analyze and understand client business requirements; plan the processes of the workflow, running performance tests, develop support and maintain the academy.
Better Training for Safer Food (BTSF) is a Commission initiative aimed at organizing a Community (EU) training strategy in the areas of food law, feed law, animal health, and animal welfare rules, as well as plant health rules.
